SHOCKING DISCOVERY: Ghana investigates Islamic State recruitment in universities

Mohammad Nazir Nortei Alema was confirmed as one of those who have joined IS

Ghana's authorities are investigating several universities over links to suspected recruitment for the so-called Islamic State (IS), officials say.

IS agents recruited students after urging them to join radical online forums, National Security Coordinator Yaw Donkor told the GhanaWeb news site.
Mr Donkor also confirmed reports of two Ghanaians travelling to join IS.
The Islamist militant group, notorious for its brutality, holds swathes of territory across Iraq and Syria.
