Real Madrid topped Deloitte's Football Money League for the 11th consecutive year, generating 577m euros (£439m) in 2014-15.
Barcelona are second with 560.8m euros (£426.6m), with United third on 519.5m euros (£395.2m).
But Deloitte said there was a "strong possibility" United would overtake the La Liga sides in next year's edition.

What is the Deloitte Football Money League?

Deloitte is a professional services firm, whose sports business group produces an annual table of the clubs with the highest revenues.
The combined revenue for the top 20 clubs in the table rose by 8% from last year to 6.6bn euro (£5.08b), a new record.
Manchester United, who failed to qualify for either Champions League or Europa League last season, slipped from second to third following a year-on-year drop in revenue.

OMG!!! Khloe Kardashian Talks About Lamar Odom's "Terrifying" Health Crisis on Today, Says "He Had No One Else"

There is no doubt that the past few weeks have been tough for Khloe Kardashian.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star opened up to Today's Natalie Morales in a pre-taped interview Thursday about Lamar Odom's health crisis and how the initial phone call was absolutely petrifying. Because they're still married, Khloe was responsible for making all medical decisions.
"It's a horrible call to get," she admitted. "Getting to the hospital and knowing he's in a coma and having to run these tests or make medical decisions. It's terrifying."
She explained that no matter what she did there was always going to be a risk, which scared her even more because she was responsible for his care. "You have to make risk-and-reward decisions," Khloe continued. "Like, OK, well, there's an 80 percent chance if we do this operation, he might pass away. But also if we don't do it, there's a 90 percent chance he'll pass away."

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are continuing to get used to their new normal.
Following their dramatic breakup and Scott's decision to get help at a Malibu rehab facility, Kourt's sister Kim Kardashian says the family is still getting used to all the changes.

"It's a hard adjustment, there's a lot that goes into it and I think as a sister all you can do is being really supportive," Kim recently told E! News exclusively of Kourtney and Scott's situation. "You know, we love Scott too, he's family. So that makes it hard for everyone, even though you might not agree with someone's actions."

Scott's actions include excessive partying, alcohol abuse and not being there for his and Kourtney's three children, problems Kourtney regularly hounded her ex for on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Over the summer, Scott was also photographed getting too close with another woman before their breakup.

SPORT UPDATES: Jose Mourinho Confident That He Retains Roman Abramovich's Trust

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he is confident he retains the trust of owner Roman Abramovich.
The Premier League champions are three points above the relegation zone after losing seven of their opening 12 Premier League matches.
But Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo had told the Daily Telegraph  that Abramovich supports Mourinho.
"Nobody gives a four-year contract to a manager if they don't trust the person," Mourinho said.
"Nobody gives new contracts to players, as we have in the last couple of months, if we don't trust the players.
"There is trust and there are reasons for that trust. The power is with the board and they have shown to me and the players that they trust us.
"It's time for us to give a positive answer. I think we are doing this but not in the results."

EVENT UPDATE: THE #WiBLES2015 PRESS RELEASE (by Chief Mrs Opral Benson)

 Invitation to Building Greatness.
Join Me, Oby Ezekwesili, Toyin Saraki, Onyeka Onwenu at Building Greatness WIBLES Summit 2015.

I will like to invite you to join me and other leaders at the 2nd Annual Women in Business and Leadership Summit from the 15th - 17th October 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria.

The African Union has christened the years 2010-2020 as the African Women’s Decade as more women take the reins at the most reputable institutions on the continent. Sadly, women are still among the most underutilized resources in community development in Africa.

It is commonly said that there is a lot that women can do to support one another and the first thing we can do is simply show up for another. It helps tremendously to share not only our successes but also our failures with one another in order for us to grow and truly learn from one another.

LATEST UPDATES: Oil theft bigger threat than price slump – Experts

Stakeholders in the upstream segment of the nation’s petroleum industry under the aegis of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists have raised the alarm over the spate of oil theft and illegal crude refining in the country, saying they are more devastating than falling oil prices.
Attributing the current low oil prices to an over-supply in the world market, the stakeholders said it was important for the Federal Government to refortify its security apparatus so that the massive leakage in the sector was curtailed in the shortest possible time.
To this end, the President, NAPE, Mr. Chikwendu Edoziem, said insecurity and pipeline vandalism were due to poor government policies and governance, stressing, “Insecurity, oil theft and illegal refining are bigger threats to the oil and gas industry in Nigeria than the declining price of oil.”
He said about N200bn had been lost to the menace of oil theft in addition to the loss of assets due to fire outbreaks, impact on the environment, loss of lives and the reputation of Nigeria as a mature oil and gas producing country.

LATEST UPDATES: Nigeria destined to fail – Fani-Kayode

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, says Nigeria has been destined to fail since its creation by the British in 1914.
He said the British created Nigeria such that the ‘poor North’ would continue to rule while the ‘rich South’ will remain oppressed.
Fani-Kayode said this in a Facebook post on Tuesday titled, “The 9th Earl of Bathrust and the Nigerian State.”
He said shortly before independence, the British gave the North permanent rule.
He said, “The Nigeria that they (British) handed over to us in 1960 was nothing but an unworkable artificial state and a poisoned chalice. It was destined to fail right from the outset.
“Worse still, they handed us that poisoned chalice with a malicious and mischievous intent and without any recourse to our people in terms of any form of a national referendum.”

LATEST UPDATE: BPE, NBET differ on $146.8m Yola Disco refund

Two government agencies are at loggerheads over the refund of about $146.8m to Integrated Energy Distribution and Marketing Company, which had acquired and relinquished the Federal Government’s 60 per cent equity in the Yola Electricity Distribution Company Plc.
Apart from the power of approving and authorising the payment for the share buyback deal, investigation by our correspondent showed that the absence of a substantive Finance minister had created a chasm for disagreement on the responsibility for the refund.
While the Bureau of Public Enterprises, which sold the enterprise to the IEDMC, says the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trader has taken over the responsibility for the settlement of the liability, the NBET insists that the responsibility is that of the privatisation agency.

NEWS UPDATE: Group faults removal of Fashola’s budget from website

A group, BudgIT, which advocates transparency in government, has berated the Lagos State Government for removing the budgetary spending of former Governor Babatunde Fashola.
Fashola, according to information posted on the state government’s website, spent N78.3m on his personal website, www.tundefashola.com, and also spent N139m to drill two boreholes at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
Following the controversy the spending caused, the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode-led government removed Fashola’s budget from the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency.
However, BudgIT, in a statement by its Lead Partner, Oluseun Onigbinde, said it was wrong of the state government to remove the budget without giving any explanation to taxpayers.
BudgIT, which was responsible for blowing the whistle on Fashola’s controversial website, said the action was in clear violation of the objectives of the procurement agency.

LATEST UPDATES: Ezekwesili knocks Al-Makura over alleged assault on woman

A former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has demanded a public apology from the Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura, over an alleged manhandling of a woman, Lois Iorvihi, and her siblings, Joi and Jerry, on their way from Makurdi to Abuja.
Some members of Al-Makura’s convoy were alleged to have beaten up Lois and her brothers for allegedly obstructing the governor’s convoy on Saturday.
Al-Makura’s Chief Press Secretary, Tukur Ahmed, however, denied the report that Lois was brutalised.
Ezekwesili, in a series of tweets on her official Twitter handle, said that Al-Makura’s statement on the issue “was embarrassing.”

SPORT UPDATE: Ronaldo hailed by satisfied Benítez

Rafael Benítez said he knows Cristiano Ronaldo’s “level and value” after yet another hat-trick saw off Shakhtar Donetsk, leaving Mircea Lucescu ruing one costly mistake.
Rafael Benítez, Real Madrid coach
It was a difficult match because Shakhtar know how to control the ball. They didn’t have many opportunities but they are dangerous on the counterattack. It was not a brilliant game but we had lots of chances to score.
I’m satisfied with not having conceded a goal and scored four. I know Cristiano’s level and value. He is the best player in the world and I will repeat this every time you ask me.
